Game won't start after Updating,

 

 

1. Remove hacks/downloads from your game (cut them to your desktop or where you want) and try again.

2. Remove from My Documents / Electronic Arts / Sims3 the following 4 files:

  • CASPartCache.package
  • compositirCache.package
  • scriptCache.package
  • simCompositorCache.package

Restart the game

3. Still no result?
Give the folder My Documents / Electronic Arts / Sims3 a different name like TheSims3_Old and try restart the game again.

4. If the game will start up you know a download is causing a problem after updating. Which download that is? you have to find out yourself.

5. Update your videocard regularly
