Recording sound in Vista and Windows 7,   The "Smart guys" from Microsoft didn't thought it was necessary to make your stereo mixer visable. That's why you can't record sounds from your pc, exept through a microfoon or through Line-in. But it's realy there, you just need to know a little tric: 1. Right-click on the speaker icon, right-bottom on taksbar 2. Click on "RecordDevices" 3. Don't see "Stereo Mix"? 4. Right-click somewhere in the screen (within the lines) 5. Click on "Turned off devices"" to show them 6. Now you'll see "Stereo Mix" 7. Right-click on it and choose "Turn On" 8. Click "Apply" and "Ok" Now you can record sound with all kinds of (free) program's from internet (Google for Free wav recorders) of your Sims - or stuff from Youtube
